Canberra Ingrown Toenail Clinic opened in 2018 and we have been treating ingrown toenails every day since! We would love to help you get rid of your problematic toenail once and for all. We are offering a free ingrown toenail assessment to discuss a tailored plan for you.

Firstly we will discuss your symptoms, concerns and medical history. Then we will visually inspect the nail/s of concern to assess the degree of ingrown nail, presence of infection and other factors that may be contributing to your problem.

Once we have a good understanding of your concerns, we will discuss treatment options which may include an Onyfix nail brace to help the nail grow out, a Non-Surgical Treatment or a Surgical Procedure under local anesthetic.

–Onyfix Nail Bracing. We are getting amazing results with this pain free, quick and in-expensive nail brace.

–Non-Surgical. This option is great for people who want immediate relief and those with lots of questions about self-treatment and prevention.

–Surgical intervention under local anaesthetic, where we remove the ingrowing portion of the nail and use a chemical to stop it growing back. Sometimes the whole nail needs to be removed.

If surgical intervention is advised, the Podiatrist will run through the Checklist to make sure that you are a suitable candidate for surgery. They will give you a thorough breakdown of what is involved in the surgery and the recovery, as well as information to take home and read over with your family and/or GP.
